Dr. tamsin Chong
Chiropractor (B.Chiro, DipAppSc, MNZCA, ACC Registered)Tamsin's journey into chiropractic began long before she became a chiropractor herself. Growing up, she often accompanied her mum to appointments with Dr. Bruce Adam, at Milford Chiropractic. Those visits sparked an early appreciation for chiropractic care. After experiencing a whiplash injury of her own, she discovered firsthand the difference chiropractic could make and knew she wanted to help others experience the same.
Today, it is a privilege to continue Dr. Bruce Adam’s legacy after taking over for him at Milford Chiropractic, following his well-earned retirement.
Tamsin is passionate about helping people of all ages move well, feel their best, and get back to doing what they love. From newborns and children or busy families, to athletes and older adults, she enjoys tailoring care to each person's unique needs. She has a particular soft spot for babies, loves helping people stay active throughout life, and is always excited to meet the furry family members too.
She uses a variety of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Upper Cervical, Extremity Adjusting, and Advanced Bio-structural Correction (ABC)—a specialised technique offered by only a small number of chiropractors in New Zealand. This range allows her to provide personalised care suited to each patient's goals and comfort.
Outside of the clinic, you'll find Tamsin playing club and regional hockey, swimming, trying out new hobbies with her friends, or spending time with her human and furry family.
Tamsin is known for her friendly, down-to-earth approach and she is excited about helping people regain confidence in their bodies and take control of their health again. She looks forward to welcoming you to Milford Chiropractic and being a part of your health journey.
